Tiger Woods posted a short video on Twitter Thursday morning of him swinging a wedge with the caption “I’ve got some new Nike irons in my bag, so feel free to give me a hug or a handshake when you see me.”

A clip later showed Woods and his caddie Bryce Molder laughing as he ended the pitch with a powerful two-handed fade.
Woods’ video came after he posted the following tweet earlier Thursday morning calling his new Nike irons “interesting” because they work well when he “is cold” and “as hot as a blast furnace.”

“The weather is changing,” he wrote. “And these are the ones that should work when it gets 90 degrees out. Cool.”
Woods’ tweet about the irons could be one of several marketing angles for Nike as they negotiate a new extension to their sports and consumer licensing deal with the 42-year-old golfer. The two sides are reportedly still negotiating the contract, and the deal’s expected value is north of $200 million a year.
In addition to adding irons to his bag, Woods posted a new outfit Friday morning featuring Nike’s new Vapor Tek 1 and Combat Boot, both set to be available in spring.
